Screens not fully washing out

Post by jds »

After reclaiming screens first few tries, I have emulsion around edges will not washout and my design is clearly seen in the screen.
I been using emulsion remover, ink remover, degreaser, with strong hose ( not pressure washer)
My shop gets a bit hot during day 90 degrees, where emulsion and inks are kept.
There is some UV light coming in from ceiling vent, however I try to coat screens at night and cover with blanket.
What is causing my reclaiming issues?
Thanks,
James

Hello James,

There is a simple cure for this. First use a pressure washer. That is a must for reclaiming. Second use a good haze remover:

That should solve your issue.
