choosing the right emulsion

Post by Robin »

I am new to the screen printing process an in the first stage of getting my business off the ground. I recently purchased a photopolymer emulsion not sure if thats the right one for a beginner so my question is ink is compatible to use because on the label on the emulsion is says resistant to plastisol ink.

For short runs it's fine. But over time the emulsion will breakdown on the screen. You want either a water resistant emulsion or a hybrid. You could also buy an emulsion hardener that makes emulsion more resistant to water based inks.
