Why is this happening ? Incositent printing . Please help

Here you can discuss any issues related to working with water based screen printing inks. This would include curing, heat setting, mixing colors, additives, brands, usages and much more.

Post by wrapprel »

Hi,

So I am a newbie to screen printign so really dont know why this is happening .

My design just comes out really light and barely visible , then the next minute it is much darker but still some of the finer details don't come out ? As seen by the photos .

Any help would be appreacited .

Thanks

It looks like perhaps your stencil is not fully washed out and/or you’re on a high mesh count.

Are you working fast enough and back flooding the stencil with ink between prints?

What mesh count are you using?

Did the stencil washout properly when making the screen? Did you look closely to see that it was a good stencil?
