Re: Help! Design is bleeding through to the inside of the sh
lol as well, I didn't even think of the shirt. Of course the quality and weight of the shirt will account for how much ink, if any, bleeds through.

Ink Review: Excalibur Sabre White Plastisol
I recently had a job for black 50/50 hoodies with white ink. I have previously been using Excalibur Arctic White for all of my white ink needs but have not been happy with the results on 50/50 hoodies, I am a perfectionist, not that the prints were bad just not what I wanted. So my ink rep gave me a...

Re: white plastisol ink
I have gotten really decent results with Excalibur Arctic white trying a one time print but still had to give it a quick flash and second pass of ink to get a quality print I was happy with. The key is though, as mentioned, it all depends on the stencil thickness and how much ink you press through b...

Re: Help! Design is bleeding through to the inside of the sh
Drew hit on something that reminded me to ask another detail...are you using water based or plastisol ink? is it real thin or is it thick? The plastisol I use is kind of in between, definitely doesn't run freely but not a paste either, real nice consistency. I use a 155 mesh for mine but if your ink...

Re: Help! Design is bleeding through to the inside of the sh
Generally when I have this issue it is due to my pressing too hard when I am printing. You really want to just press firmly enough to push the ink out of the screen but not where it is ground into the shirt and then seeps through onto the pallet. You are aiming for the ink to lay on top of the shirt...

Re: My screen printing hardware
That 4 color table top press is the one I have, it was manufactured by Logos of Missouri. if you need any parts for it they are still in business and have most replacement parts as well as platens and brackets at decent prices, http://www.logossp.com/ Looks like you have all the main equipment, just...

I can't wait to hopefully get at least a conveyor dryer to start the upgrade process. I am really feeling how much one of those would help my business! I am hoping to be ordering a Scamp from you soon Jonathan!

I am going to see if our friends at RhinoTech are planning on coming. I would love the opportunity to meet everyone and help out however I can. Th...

Re: Creating Artwork for use with RT Dry Stencil System
Sorry for the delay, been really busy lately and barely had time to get online at all. I create an image of the actual sheet size in Photo Shop, 11x17 or 8.5x11 in 300dpi and get the graphic the size I want it in black. I place the image on the sheet image however desired, flatten it and invert so t...
