Re: Printing Tee Shirts With A Manual Rotary Press

I always recommend getting the best equipment from the get go. Budget allowing of course but in the end it can save a lot of money and frustrations. The RANAR Vista series floor presses are upgradable too. That's what I like about the Vista series. And they are well made selling for a reasonable pri...

Oh yes, sorry about that. That was video from our last anchor vendor who left us this August. I'll remove it from this post. Sorry about that. :D

Re: Emulsion drying times

Depending on the relative humidity in your region and the quantity of screens you coat in relation to the drying area this can take anywhere from a couple of hours to overnight. There is no real set answer for this question. As I have pointed out there are some variables to consider. So you have to ...

Re: Newbie havin' probs!!!

Hey there! It sounds like your printer may not handle clear media well or perhaps it is a bit thick. Some printers require a white strip down the side of the inkjet film or acetates in order for the clear media to be loaded properly through the printer. Or it could be that the film is a little thick...

Re: What Do I Need To Screen Print At Home?

You are very welcome, thanks for signing up to the forum and posting. I appreciate your support online in any way very much. I would think that having your work space open to the elements some would be difficult to work with at best. It may be more of an issue in the winter as cool breezes or other ...

Re: t-shirt and frame sticking togheter

Okay great. Yes off contact is very important with any screen printing but ¼ inch or more is way too much. You want to be near a 1/8th an inch to 1/16th of an inch for best results. If the off contact is too high it will cause misprints and registration problems. And you will also need to spray tack...

Re: What is the best paint for hand printing t-shirts?

I would probably suggest using a water-based screen printing ink for textiles. They should be relatively harmless to the user and once they are heat set they will be washable and laundry safe. However many water-based inks need to be heat set between 150°F and 250°F depending on what type and what b...

Re: Ink washes out

That sounds pretty fair to me. I think I only give 3 days for returns and reprints. I have found that letting them have too long to return goods can lead to getting shirts back that have been used. In a way I make the customer check their order and do a wash test right away to make sure they are hap...
