Re: Printing Tee Shirts With A Manual Rotary Press

I use a Semi-pro Silver Press 4-1 from Ryonet. It is doing a fine job in my beginning stages. I already wish I would've gotten a 4-2 press, lol. This is a great press for those of us with small budgets to get started. I do like how it is upgradeable to a 2 station press. That is in the plans for me ...

Very cool. Looks good. Can't wait until I can upgrade 8-) I guess I'll have to wait longer than just printing 15 shirts so far :D

Ink removal

I know there are products to buy to remove uncured plastisol ink spots. I am curious if there is a way to do it in an emergency situation if you don't have any manufactured producrs, ie Plasti-Solve.

Enough with spam already

Is there a way to boot those spamming this board? I've also seen in other forums it is possible to block specific posters. That way we wouldn't have to see their posts, ie spam. Is that an option here? It's a shame some have no consideration.

Re: Blowout help

I can't stress enough how much I appreciate this forum. As a newbie it is extremely helpful to me. Watching videos doesn't always answer my questions. I printed my shirt, showed it to the customer and they were pleased. I am now doing a small production run for their band before they play a large mu...

Re: Blowout help

Update: Whoot shoot! Increasing the exposure time worked. I exposed for 8 minutes and was able to washout with a garden hose and nozzle. No pressure washer. I printed my very first shirt yesterday, white on black, front and back. Looks pretty earn good. Thank you very much for you help.

Re: Blowout help

Thanks again. I'll up the exposure time and see what happens. I just wanted to make sure that could be the issue before I proceed any further. I'll let you know what happens. I'll also try to wash it out trying just a hose first 8-)

Re: Blowout help

Thank you for the reply Saati. According to the screen printing DVDI got from Ryonet, it shows and talks about using a pressure washer to washout the stencil. My image started to washout but quickly blew out.
