You could use a heat gun along with a temp gun. It'd be time consuming though. Or use the temp gun to flash it then final cure on a heat press. Again, not the ideal way.

I can't speak to your exposure question. But, I usually use a pressure washer, fanned out and a couple feet away from screen, to washout my screens. I rarely lose dots. Are you using a poly ink? Regular plastisol ink allows dye migration. Some poly plastisol flashes/cures at a lower temp which helps reduce migration.

Telling people to stay away from a brand portrays a knock on that brand. I agree though that it depends on your intent as to what you should buy.
