Can you use plastisols on polyesters? I have some bowling shirts to do that are 3 colors and they are polyester and all I have are plastisol inks

Good evening. So this question came up when we were printing this weekend.
Our meshes kept getting kind of clogged, so we would use paint thinner to clear out the mesh...while we were printing. Is that the right thing to do? or is there another solution?
