Re: Screen printing on moisture wicking clothing
I personally use Excalibur 1550 athletic inks...they cure at 290 and you can use it on cotton apparel too so no need to stock different types of ink if smaller and on a budget or in a pinch. It does have a different feel but prints nicely.

Re: DIY Dip Tank Ideas?
I thought about one of those but it looks like it tapers down in width which I assume will make it too narrow when you get down to the middle and below...Dip.Schlitz wrote:Something like this?

DIY Dip Tank Ideas?
I am really wanting a dip tank for cleaning screens and will purchase a good one most likely from Jonathan when I have my shop outside the house. Until then I need to come up with something that will work for a year or so and would be kept outside. I do not have the ability to cut wood, etc myself s...

Re: Sublimation gallery
Cool Greg! I am actually about to add sublimation to my business too...but I am going to wait a while on a mug press. I bought a Ricoh 3110dn and probably getting the ink next week. I can't wait to try it out...but I agree with Jonathan, I will probably end up using it a lot for Leadfoot stuff! Lol

Re: ISS: Nashville
Please don't take my comments as derogatory, just being honest. I am right there with you Jonathan, I certainly understand the limitations of being a smaller business. We all need to remember you are a screen printer first, otherwise you would not be able offer us all your awesome advice! When the t...

Re: ISS: Nashville
Really enjoyed the show...it was a small one, only about 100 booths but nice for that small. I was disappointed that Ranar was not there showing off their equipment, M&R, Workhorse, Brown, Lawson, Anatol, Ryonet & Vastex all had presses on display so it was awesome to see options in person. ...

Re: ISS: Nashville
Is anyone going to be at this show from here? I'm disappointed that Ranar & RhinoTech won't be there but Saati is and the company I get screens from, GM Graphics among others. If anyone will be there we need to meet up! Excited to go to my first trade show!

Re: Printing on 100% Cotton Canvas Fabric???
They are not "blank patches" the instructor at the jiu jitsu school is buying the cotton canvas fabric and having them cut to the required size...probably the most cost effective way even if blanks were available.

Re: Printing on 100% Cotton Canvas Fabric???
Thanks! I will only be printing on patches though I could have another avenue if people want logos printed directly on their gi tops and/or bottoms. Appreciate the tips, I am looking forward to a new substrate! :) I'm with you Jonathan, won't print on already worn/laundered items or thin cheap stuff...
