That sure is odd. I have never experienced that. I use masking tape and I do not really have any cleanup issues. But many people prefer screen tape. Maybe you should try a different brand of screen tape. Most decent screen tapes should stick to emulsion and/or bare mesh.

You should probably check with the specific person who you are giving the art to see what format they want it in and how they want it set up. But usually PDF's and generic EPS files are used with all text saved as curves or outlines. You can label each film with the color ink you want since any colo...

I have never done this so I have no advice for you. Sorry. But whatever you coat the wood with you need to be sure the ink used will bond to it.
