Re: Vector Halftones
I have done some really nice halftones in AI, but it is all raster. My issue is that I have some vector designs that I would like to do halftones with. So here is a better description of what I am needing to do: I can take artwork and create a gradient of black to gray and a RIP would convert those ...

Re: Need help with registering off contact screens
Ahh I see what you mean. I think my off contact is a little on the high side. Setting off contact for me is so hard. I have the Vastex V-1000. I have to use a wrench to loosen a couple of bolts on the head and then I adjust some thumb screws. I then have to hold the head firmly down while I tighten ...

Vector Halftones

I have created halftones in Illustrator but it was using the filters so this was technically raster. I also followed ...

Need help with Simulated vs Process Colors
I need help with Simulated vs. Process Colors but I need it simplified. I have read all about this on other forums and I am still confused. I just need it simplified here: Process Colors is CMYK printed wet on wet with a underbase white and highlight white (6 color press). Is this right? The process...

Need help with registering off contact screens
I have looked through this forum and haven't found any information to my exact problem yet. I have looked through the videos on YouTube and can't find any videos either. Here is my problem: I have learned that an image prints better detail with off contact instead of the screen sitting on the garmen...
