Dead on -exposed too long, burned right through the dye/ink on the film. Problem solved, thanks!

First test print. What have I done wrong?
My first test print, didn't really figure it would go off without a hitch. I used a 160 mesh screen. Some of the lines are broken, they are very thin but I've seen better results achieved with similar detail. Some areas looked pretty good, even the thin areas in some places. Any thoughts? Higher mes...

2nd ballast blowout on XPO2331.....arrgggghh!!!
XPO2331 has blown a ballast for the second time in a month. Why?! Any other Ranar exposure unit users experiencing this? Ranar peeps graciously supplied me with a new ballast after the first one blew out now the one I replaced has blown out -in the same place. Could I have a 'dud' exp unit? I will c...

Re: recomendations for a good, general/multi purpose ink for
Sorry for the 'for b' at the end of thread title. Must've used up all my letter spaces. Think I was going to put 'for beginners'. Better yet, how about for 'start-up'.

recomendations for a good, general/multi purpose ink for b
I'm about to get started with some practice prints and I have some inks that came with my Ranar shop pkg (4 basic colors and including B/W) but I will be needing more colors. I need some recommendations for a good quality ink brand/s good for general purpose printing. I will be printing on 100% cott...

For Sale: Cadlink FilmMaker ver. 4. new/never used

Retails for $395.00 so with tax and shipping you would be looking at well over $400.00. WIll sell for $375.00 shipping included. Comes with softwa...

offcontact/screen angle (side to side) on V6400 -HeLp!
Just setting up brand new Vista 6400 and I cannot figure out how this adjustment can be made. Screen sits higher on one side of the platen than the other but the nut that looks like you would loosen to correct the problem, looks impossible to get to with a socket wrench or any wrench for that matter...

Epson 1430 and Filmmaker V3 RIP software
I just purchased the Ranar Primo Pkg. a few weeks ago and it was supposed to come with FilmMaker V3 RIP software by Cadlink but it apparently has been on backorder for sometime now. The Primo Pkg. did come with the Epson 1430, and upgrade from the 1400 advertised with the pkg. but it did come with t...
