Re: acrylic beanies
Yes, I believe so. They were just generic beanies you can find anywhere. No very easy to keep tached to the pallet but they worked out good. Had to watch the cure time VERY carefully.

sharpening squeegees
I've been looking for a way to sharpen squeegee blades without having to buy a $2000+ piece of equipment to do it. My poor squeegees are duller than my ex-wife. Lol. I know I could glue sand paper to a board and make a jig for it but was hoping for an inside trick or tip.

Re: damaged apparel policy
I have a 1% misprint/damage tolerance but I tell any customer that supplies their own shirts that I can't guarantee that particular order because I don't know where the shirts came from or what may be on them. As far as your situation with the dri fit, maybe see if they will accept a similar style/p...

Re: Screen printing on moisture wicking clothing
I just finished a 80 shirt order of 100% poly moisture wicking shirts. I used international coatings(IC) poly ink and cured at 290°. They came out great and customer loved them. Its a thicker ink but if you mix it very well, it can print through higher mesh with no problem.

Re: Need software advise
I use Accurip, Epson 1400/1430 printer and Corel Draw X6. Think they are pretty much standard now. They do work great together.

Re: transferring woodblock prints to screens
From what I can see, it looks like fine detail but no real halftones? As far as screen mesh count, 200 or 230 should work great with most ink colors other than white. I think Catspit offers artwork services that would work great but you'll have to check to see if its available. I believe I read that...

Re: Newbie with some print issues...
If the white is easiest to work with, I think the mesh count is probably to open. The pictures in your first post look like the ink is bleeding, which could mean the mesh is to open or the flood is a bit to hard. I would keep a close eye on the bottom(tee shirt side) of the screen. The ink is probab...

Re: Newbie with some print issues...
I think the double print is caused by not enough spray tach, most likely. When using water base, you have to keep the screen flooded or the ink will dry in the mesh, causing missing print. I would try to find out the mesh count, that's very important. It does look like your flooding a bit to hard or...

Re: emulsion problem...
I wouldn't worry about it. Maybe try to avoid that spot with your transparency, if it caused a big spot in the emulsion. It shouldn't hurt anything as long as you can fit your image in a good spot. Just give it plenty of time to dry. Lol.

Re: Large run questions?
I haven't done a run that large yet but I know it depends on the type of emulsion and ink you're using and if you're doing it manual or automatic. You can post harden the screens to help them last longer by exposing and rinsing it normally, letting it dry, then expose it again for double the origina...
