Re: Can I Use A Flash Cure Unit To Final Cure My Tee Shirts?

Great stuff...330 degrees...teflon or wax paper for the heat press after its dry to the touch. I think I have some teflon sheets if Tyvek paper is teflon. I'll have to check. Since I have moved to the flash curing section, to bone up on curing, this must mean that I believe I have made a screen that...

Re: Leadfoot's RhinoTech-RhinoScreen Dry Stencil Print Jobs

This method, I too, can't wait to try. It certainly is an ecological no brainer. Leadfoot, you do nice work man, thanks for posting those samples of your work. This method, as I have read in the posts, is to this industry as the polyester plate was to the offset industry. I have yet to read anyone's...

Re: RhinoScreen Dry Stencil Film

Excellent video on the dry stencil method. I had no idea this was an option to traditional screenmaking. I use a single color 12 x 18 HP5000 1200dpi laserjet printer to output offset plates on polyester plate material. The fuser temps are tweakable and were developed in conjunction with a leading po...

Outsourcing Screen Services

If one was to find a screenprint shop that will burn screens for you, what is the normal fee to expect per burn, file supplied, blank screens supplied. Should you expect the shop to tape the screens ready for ink or would that be an extra fee normally? In what condition should the screens be supplie...

Re: My design keeps washing out :/

I made a stencil on vellum of bold type matter and a line drawing sketch, no halftone ...I made 2 of the stencils, registered them together to add density to my blacks on a light table and prepared a burn under glass and a fan..this was using diazo dual cure pink stuff...The burn was a 4 minute burn...

Re: Ink Tack plastisol inks)

Thanks for the reply, yes both videos were very informative in that reducers work the same way for both offset and screen print inks. I wouldnt recommend a plexiglass mixing top however, small bits and chips of plastic from the plexiglass may contaminate the ink, I would continue to use a glass for ...
