Thanks Shamax, I realized where I went wrong when I was washing out the design I was scared I was losing my image but what really was happening was the emulsion was actually suppose to leave from the screen in the areas that were to be open. Too much ink on shirt
I tried printing a shirt and the ink poured through the shirt side of the screen causing too much ink to blot on te shirt, what could be the cause of this?

Screen washout help
After I take my screen from the exposure kit,and I'm ready to washout the design, can I use a spray bottle and wet the screen first and then take the screen to my kitchen sink and wash the design out under regular light? So last night I attempted to print my first shirt. However it didn't turn out to be perfect. Matthew you can download a free trial of adobe photoshop so you can get a feel of how the software works and at that time you can see if its. Good fit for your needs

Thanks for your reply. Once I have the images on different layers I selected color overlay and turned the image to black, I repeated this for each color layer.

hello I have a 3 color design that I have setup in photoshop, each color has its own layer. I know in order to print the film positive I must convert the design of each layer into black, what is the best way to convert each layer to print black ink only? thank

Hey guys I have an Epson workforce 1100 printer and I'm trying to setup my printer options for printing 3 color design. I have the 3 different layers seperated but I was wondering what setting I need to set when I hit print from photoshop Cs4. Any help or videos thanks
