I personally do 1 coat on each side using the thicker, more rounded edge of my scoop coater for almost all of my screens. If you're needing a thicker ink deposit for more opacity, you might want to do 2 on the substrate side and 1 on the inkwell side.

Welcome to the forums! :mrgreen: I'll second what Saati said. with practice, you'll get a rhythm and feel for how much emulsion you're putting on the screen. Also, if you look at your scoop coater, one edge of it should be fairly sharp and narrow while the other is slightly thicker and more rounded....

I can add almost any Saati product but stocking is an issue with items like emulsion that have a shelf life.
