6 color print on black gildans
*jonathan- it wouldn't let me upload a picture in to finished products gallery in the forum. So feel free to move this post there. Thanks!* Here's a 6 color print I did yesterday. I did the sep myself. Ran a reduced white through a 195 mesh. Hit it twice, and then ran the 5 colors through 160's. the...

Re: Washing out emulsion
The Ulano Orange just takes a long time to wash out. Compared to Saati or Chromablue, it seems like an eternity, but it should wash out details if the exposure time is correct. Have you tried an exposure calculator on a screen?

GCC Expert 24
Not sure if I should put this in this category, creating films, or the vinyl transfer category. So if you feel it should move, feel free. Here's the idea and issue I'm having. I constantly am trying new things and pushing my limits. It forces me to learn how to do more things and when I get them rig...

Ranar 5' Scamp Dryer
I've got a new Ranar 5' Scamp Dryer for sale in the Los Angeles/ Orange County CA area. The dryer is practically brand new. It has maybe 15 hours on it. It's a smaller dryer but great for someone doing smaller runs or has tight space restrictions in their print shop. Its on a 110 circuit so it can b...

Reclaiming
Thought everyone might like to see what reclaim days look like at the shop. Notice the tape mountain in the corner! We have a dip tank so all of these really aren't too tough. We hit the screen with a bit of ink degradeant and loosen it up with a brush, throw it in the dip tank, and then hit it with...

Re: Printing Tags
Thanks for the info Greg. I planned on putting it on there anyway, but it's good to know. Especially where it was made. When I get some prototypes made, I'll post some pictures.

Printing Tags
I'm going to start printing tags on the inside of the shirt. Just wanted to see if others have done this and any tips or tricks they have learned to make this easier. My biggest worry is bleeding through to the back of the shirt. I've heard from guys that run huge shops, doing 6,000+ tags a day to u...

Re: Epson 4800 refillable ink carts
Well. I got the printer fixed today. To keep a very long and confusing story short, I ran an ink conversion thing on the printer which pulled ink through the line. Then I ran a power cleaning and viola. It's printed with the air hole open and closed, so I'm not sure that matters, but the main thing ...

Re: Epson 4800 refillable ink carts
Thanks Jonathan. Actually, on the back of the cartridge are two holes. One is for filling the cartridge with the funnel, and the other is for air. Now, with no printer knowledge, I assumed this was for air to enter the cartridge. When ink leaves the cart, something has to go in it to replace it. Oth...
